I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this post. I really have no idea why, either.
For over a year now I've been making my own laundry detergent. I know that I've saved quite a bit of money by doing this. And, it works great! Our clothes smell fresh and clean while looking it, too!
Today I'm finally going to share my MYO laundry detergent recipe with you! (Don't you feel special) ;)
I found this recipe online, but could not find where I got it from. I searched and searched for almost an hour to no avail. So, whoever you are, I'm sorry that I didn't give credit where credit was due. Please contact me to correct my failed attempt. :)
MYO Laundry Detergent {powder recipe}
1 bar Fels Naptha Soap
1 c. Mule Team borax
1 c. Super Washing Soda
1 air tight container
Directions:
1.) Grate 2/3 bar Fels Naptha with a cheese grater into container. Mix in 1 c. borax and 1 c. Washing Soda. Close lid and Shake. Use 1 TBS. per load. You may use 1-2 TBS. for more soiled loads.
| At the end, it should look something like this. |
THE END!
See, that easy, right?
And who says making stuff at home takes way too much time and effort?! I'm telling ya, once you start making things like this at home and see how well they work and how much money you save, you'll never go back. At least, I didn't.
What are some things that YOU would like to see ME make at home??
Hope you have a blessed day !
